Casoda backup camera
Forget Everything You Know About Weak WiFi Signals
Most backup cameras use cheap 2.4GHz WiFi that freezes every time you hit 30 feet or someone turns on a microwave. We don’t. Our 5.8GHz anti-interference chip delivers a rock-solid signal up to 150 feet – even on a 35-foot fifth wheel with the tow vehicle. No freeze frames. No choppy picture. No “wait, what was I about to hit?” moments. The video you see is what’s happening right now, not three seconds ago.

Zero Signal Freeze
Most cameras use 2.4GHz WiFi – the same frequency as microwaves and baby monitors. That’s why they freeze and drop out. Casoda uses 5.8GHz anti-interference technology that delivers stable transmission up to 150 feet, zero freeze frames, and lossless HD video. What you see is happening right now, not three seconds ago.
Actual Night Vision
Sony CCD sensors (not cheap CMOS chips) paired with 12-18 infrared LED lights and 6-layer glass lenses. Read a license plate at 20 feet in pitch black. When you’re backing a horse trailer into a barn at midnight or maneuvering into a dark loading dock, you need to actually see what’s back there. Casoda cameras deliver that.
Survives What Kills Other Cameras
IP69K is the highest waterproof standard available – designed for commercial vehicles that get blasted with high-pressure steam cleaning. Nano pouring sealant technology, tested from -22°F to 140°F, survives 1,450 PSI car washes. If it handles commercial truck abuse, your SUV is a walk in the park.
Install It Yourself
Works with Furrion pre-wired mounts (5-minute plug and play), any 12V power source, and your phone is your monitor. Multiple mounting options with crystal-clear instructions. Customers consistently report 15-30 minute installs. One guy did it in a Walmart parking lot. If you can plug in a phone charger, you can install a Casoda camera.
True 1080P HD
True 1920×1080 resolution with Sony CCD sensors and 6-layer glass optics (not plastic that scratches). Lossless image compression with superior color accuracy. When you’re lining up a hitch or judging distance to a curb, you need to see clearly. Casoda’s CCD sensors and glass lenses deliver that clarity.
Smart Features That Actually Help
Adjustable parking guidelines, auto WiFi connection when you shift to reverse, photo/video recording for insurance, 180° rotation on magnetic models (no tools needed), and works while driving as a constant rear-view monitor. Every feature solves a real problem we heard from thousands of frustrated drivers.

Built by Engineers Who Got Tired of Cameras That Don’t Work
Founded in 2019 by a team of frustrated engineers in Shenzhen, China, Casoda was born from a simple realization: backup cameras shouldn’t be this complicated or this expensive.
Our founders had all dealt with the same problems – overpriced systems that froze when you needed them most, “waterproof” cameras that died in the rain, and installation processes that required a degree in electrical engineering. They decided to build something better.
The result: Commercial-grade components at prices regular people can actually afford. Professional reliability without the professional installation headache. Technology that works the way drivers need it to work – not the way engineers think it should work.
Five years and 10,000+ customers later, we’re still obsessed with the same thing: making vehicle safety accessible, reliable, and dead simple.
Innovation That Matters
We don’t add features for the spec sheet. We pioneered 5.8GHz WiFi in backup cameras because 2.4GHz kept freezing. We developed magnetic mounting because not everyone wants to drill holes in their $60,000 truck. Every innovation solves a real problem we heard from real drivers.
Zero Compromise on Quality
Premium Sony CCD sensors. IP69K waterproofing (the highest standard that exists). 6-layer glass lenses. Temperature tested from -22°F to 140°F. We use commercial-grade components because your safety isn’t negotiable. These cameras cost more to build, but they actually work when you need them.
Designed for Real Humans
Every feature is tested by people who actually use backup cameras – RV owners, truckers, weekend warriors, city drivers. If it’s confusing, we redesign it. If it doesn’t work reliably, we don’t ship it. From 180° magnetic rotation to automatic WiFi pairing, everything is built for real-world use.

Will this fit my vehicle?
Racketon roof racks are compatible with most SUVs, trucks, and crossovers that have factory or aftermarket crossbars installed. You’ll need existing crossbars on your vehicle—the rack mounts to these bars, not directly to your roof. Check our size guide above to find the best rack for your specific vehicle. If your crossbars are between 2-4 inches shorter than the rack length, you’re good to go.
Crossbars are NOT included and must be purchased separately if your vehicle doesn’t have them.
How much weight can these racks hold?
Most Racketon models (64″ and 74″ sizes) support up to 300 lbs of cargo. Our largest model (74″x49″) has a 400 lbs capacity. However, always check your vehicle’s dynamic roof load rating first—it’s usually listed in your owner’s manual. Your roof’s rating might be lower than the rack’s capacity, and you must follow the lower limit. The weight limit includes both the rack and your cargo combined.
Will this fit in my garage with the rack installed?
A Racketon roof rack adds approximately 8 inches to your vehicle’s height. Most standard garage doors are 7 feet (84 inches) tall, so if your vehicle is under 76 inches without the rack, you should fit comfortably. Important: Measure at your garage entrance, not just inside—driveway angles can reduce clearance when entering. If you’re tight on space, consider removing the rack when not in use. Installation and removal takes about 30 minutes once you’re familiar with the process.
Do I need special tools to install this?
No special tools required. You’ll need basic items most people already have: a wrench or socket set and possibly a screwdriver. All mounting hardware (U-bolts, clamps, washers, nuts) comes included in the box. Pro tip: Having a second person helps significantly due to the rack’s weight (42-70 lbs depending on model), but technically one person can install it. Plan for 30-60 minutes for your first installation.
Will this create wind noise or whistling?
Racketon racks include a wind fairing (air deflector) designed to minimize noise. Most customers report minimal to no wind noise at highway speeds when the rack is empty. Noise can increase slightly when loaded, depending on how you pack your cargo—aerodynamic items create less noise than bulky, uneven loads. Proper installation is key: make sure all rubber strips are correctly positioned and end caps are fully locked.
How does this affect my gas mileage?
An empty roof rack typically reduces fuel economy by 5-10% due to increased wind resistance. With cargo loaded, expect a 10-25% decrease depending on the size, weight, and aerodynamics of what you’re carrying. A flat cargo bag is more efficient than irregularly shaped items. If fuel economy is a priority and you’re not using the rack regularly, consider removing it between trips—it takes about 30 minutes to take off and reinstall.
Is the rack waterproof?
The Racketon itself is a mesh-style basket, so it’s open to the elements—not a sealed container. The galvanized steel construction and powder-coat finish make it weather-resistant and rust-proof, but your cargo will be exposed to rain and snow. For weather protection, use waterproof cargo bags or tarps to cover your items. Many customers pair their Racketon with cargo nets and weather-resistant bags for all-season hauling.
Will this rust over time?
Racketon racks feature double-layer rust protection: galvanized steel construction with a powder-coat finish on top. With proper care, they resist rust for years, even in snowy climates with road salt. Inspect your rack periodically (especially after winter months) for any paint chips or scratches. Touch up any damaged areas promptly with rust-resistant paint to maintain protection. Avoid leaving the rack wet for extended periods when not in use.
How does Racketon compare to Thule or Yakima?
Racketon offers comparable load capacity (300-400 lbs) and durability to premium brands at 1/3 the price. Our 8-inch high rails provide more vertical storage space than most competitors (4-6 inches). The main difference? Premium brands include more refined mounting hardware and accessories. Racketon focuses on core functionality—heavy-duty hauling without the premium price tag. If the included U-bolts feel basic, they’re easily upgraded for $10-15.
Can I leave it installed year-round or should I remove it?
You can leave your Racketon installed year-round—it’s built to withstand all weather conditions. However, removing it when not in use offers benefits: improved fuel economy, reduced wind noise, easier garage clearance, and longer life for the rack’s finish. Many owners install it seasonally (spring through fall) or just when needed for trips. Once you’ve installed it a few times, removal and reinstallation becomes quick and easy—about 20-30 minutes.
